FALL 2024 TITANS FOOTBALL AND CHEER REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Welcome to the Fall 2024 New Castle Youth Football & Cheer Program!

Our program is welcome to boys and girls entering K-6 in Fall 2024 who attend the Chappaqua Central School District or reside in the Town of New Castle. 

Program is first come first serve, and registration will close once we reach maximum capacity. At that point, any interested families will be placed on a waitlist and informed of their status closer to season start  date.

Fall Titans offers the following programs for your child:

FLAG FOOTBALL (K)

FLAG FOOTBALL (1-2)

TACKLE FOOTBALL (3-4)

TACKLE FOOTBALL (5-6)

CHEERLEADING (K-2)

CHEERLEADING (3-6)

Our Titans Football program is part of the Westchester Youth Football League (WYFL) and is a travel program that plays other schools in the country as part of the official league.

The official Fall 2024 Titans season will begin the first week of school and run straight through the first week of November. The WYFL will publish the schedule closer to season start in August.

**PRE-SEASON PRACTICE SCHEDULE**

Preseason practice dates: TBD

Grade K: 6-7pm

Grades 1-2: 6-7:30pm

Grades 3-6: 6-8 pm

Pre-season practice location is TBD (either HGHS or 7B Middle School)

**REGULAR SEASON PRACTICE SCHEDULE** 

All Titans practices for cheer and football are on Mondays and Wednesdays. 3/4 and 5/6 tackle football programs may have some Saturday morning practices to the discretion of the coach. Regular season practices will either be at HGHS or Seven Bridges Middle School and will be announced closer to season start.
Season dates (8/29-10/25)

TIMINGS;

--Football:

Flag K: 6-7pm

Flag 1/2: 6-7:30pm

Tackle 3/4: 6-8pm

Tackle 5/6: 6-8pm  

Flag and Tackle Football will practice on Monday and Wednesdays, with games to be held on the weekends (home and away - schedule to be published closer to season start). For away games, teams will travel to neighboring towns to compete, parents will be responsible for transportation. 

Please note, K flag teams will NOT travel within the league, they will have inter-team games incorporates within their Mon/ Wed pratice slots.

--Cheerleading:

Cheer K-2: M/W 6-7 pm

Cheer 3-6: M/W 7-8 pm

*Cheerleaders are expected to cheer for playoff games home or away.

Titans cheerleaders will also perform at flagship events such as Homecoming, Memorial Day parade (out of season) and other community events. 

**GAMES AND PERFORMANCES**

All Titans flag and tackle football teams are part of the Westchester Youth Football League and will be playing other teams in the league during the season. There will be both home and away games, and these will be played mostly on the weekends, typically on Sundays (although may vary). The fall schedule will be published closer to the season start and communicated with all parents. Our cheer program will follow the same WYFL schedule.

K Flag Football and Cheer teams will NOT travel. 

Cheer will also participate in a number of cheerleading competitions over the course of the season.

**EQUIPMENT**

This year, we will have families order their uniform and complete Football/ Cheer Kit directly online through our partners at Rainbow Lettering. Your uniform will be shipped directly to your home. NOTE: You will not be charged for the uniform, as it is included in your registration fee.

Titans equipment requirements:

--FLAG FOOTBALL players will receive their full uniform kit, but you will need to purchase the following:

1. Cleats (plastic spikes not metal)

2. Mouthguard

3. Cup

--TACKLE FOOTBALL players will receive their full uniform kit, but you will need to purchase the following:

1. Helmet (white w/ navy facemask)  We will do a number of helmet fittings throughout the summer and can also share retailers carrying helmets locally as requested.

2. Shoulder Pads

3. Mouth Guard (attached to facemask)

4. Cleats (plastic spikes not metal)

5. Cup

We recommend helmets and shoulder pads not be bought online but in store as they need to be fitted for proper safety. Locally, we recommend Laur-Lee Sports in Ossining for your full equipment needs.

--CHEERLEADERS  will receive their full uniform kit, but you will need to purchase the following:

1. White cheer sneakers (will send link to exact style to purchase)

2. Leggings (coaches will provide colors/styles required)

3. Under layers (coaches will provide colors/styles required)

**SEASON FEES**

K Flag Football: $275/ player

1-2 Flag Football: $285/ player

Tackle Football: $375/ player

Cheerleading: $315/ player

All fees are inclusive of registration, uniform, league fees, competitions, events, and incidentals.

The Titans program is committed to being fully inclusive, making football and cheer opportunities open and available to all. Multiple scholarships are available, please reach out for more information. 

NOTE: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER AUGUST 1st, 2024.
